Hotter than the BLAZES!

So... wanna know why I haven't posted anything this week like I said I would? Well, there's a very legitimate reason. It may not sound like it at the start, but once I explain, I think you'll come around to my way of thinking. Are you ready? Drum roll please. The number one reason would be because..."It is too stinking hot to be inside an apartment that has no air-conditioning!" (unless the kids are taking naps, like now). Wait! Before I get any eye-rolling, unsympathetic flack from you Eastern Washingtonians, Idahoans, Florida Friends, and Arizona relatives, let me say that of all the places I have lived, I don't ever remember a time when the weather has been this unbearable. Seriously. I've even lived in Hawaii for 3 months, so I know what hot, sticky weather feels like! It's bad. Take for example today it has already reached 110 degrees! Rather hot, in my opinion. I know that some of you that live in Arizona have weather that is consistently in the 120's, but wait, I'm not done yet! I think you would all agree that humidity plays a huge role in how hot it actually FEELS... well, today the humidity is a whopping 85%!!! And it's only 3pm! So combine the two together and what you have is a city full of people that are literally dripping with sweat. Still not wanting to let me off the hook for not posting pictures? Well, let me add a few more factors. Do you remember how in elementary school we learned that heat rises? I didn't know how true that was until we moved into an apartment on the top floor! You can literally feel the air get harder to breathe as you reach new floors. We just happen to be five stories up, (which on a side note, really doesn't have that fabulous of a view either!). Not to mention the fact that my own personal thermometer has gone up a notch with the addition of this little baby growing inside. Still not sympathetic? Then, you have issues. Serious ones. =) I've run out of excuses, but I think there are some pretty good ones tucked in there every once in awhile. So... until we meet again via the internet, we'll be doing our best to stay out of our sauna, and frequenting air-conditioned stores, pools, water-parks, lakes and any other body of water we happen to come across. Love and hugs to all!

-From the Hillbilly Fox family that walks around their house in their underwear, takes several cold showers/baths a day, and is still dripping with sweat... Just keepin' it real.

Okay, that's a good excuse. Love the song that's playing. Nearly brought tears to my eyes.

Ha Ha! It's crazy and somewhat creepy that it got that hot over there! Weird. It hasn't been too hot here, hot, but not bad.

Miss you!
